Cook Medical and Quanta System have entered into an agreement in which, in some territories, Cook will distribute a comprehensive offering of Quanta’s holmium and thulium laser systems, laser fibres, and accessories. This partnership ensures that customers have access to a complete laser portfolio, with approachably priced systems that feature the latest laser technologies as a complement to Cook’s extensive line of disposable products. This agreement strengthens Cook’s ability to meet physician needs across many urological applications, including the opportunity to treat patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

Quanta System SpA is a 100% Italian company that has been offering innovative laser systems for surgery, aesthetics, and art conservation on the global market since 1985. In its headquarters in Samarate (Varese, Italy), the company carries out the entire process of research, development, and the production of lasers that are used worldwide and distributed through a network of 110 international distributors.

What does Quanta do within the healthcare sector?

Quanta manufactures high-quality laser solutions for traditional or endoscopic surgery, urology (in particular for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia and urolithiasis), gastroenterology, thoracic and pulmonary surgery, otorhinolaryngology, gynaecology, dentistry, and general surgery.
