Product Numbers, Shipping and Returns

Product Numbers

Every product has both a reference part number (RPN) and a 6-character order number. Both of these numbers appear on our product datasheets, website product pages, and in our catalogues. You can use either of these numbers when you place an order. If you have the product’s RPN but your ordering system uses 6-character order numbers, then you can use our Product Number Converter to get the correct number.

Shipment and Terms

For Cook products purchased from distributors
If you buy Cook products from one of our distribution partners, please contact them for shipping and delivery terms in your region.

For products purchased directly from Cook Medical
Stock items usually ship on the day that we confirm your order. Nonstock items will take longer to ship. If you need express delivery for stock items, we can arrange it for an additional fee (if available for your shipping region). Small orders may incur an order handling fee. For full shipping and delivery terms, please refer to our Standard Business Practice document or contact your local Customer Support team.

Returned Goods Policy

For Cook products purchased from distributors
If you buy Cook products from one of our distribution partners, please contact them to learn their terms and policies.

For products purchased directly from Cook Medical
For full product return terms, please refer to our Standard Business Practice document or contact your local Customer Support team.

We will accept a return of any stock item within 90 days of the original invoice date. We will not accept a return of a nonstock item. Returned stock items may be subject to a reprocessing charge. We will give full credit for any item that has to be returned because of a processing error by Cook.

You must request authorisation before you return any items that you received from your local Customer Support team or relevant Distribution Partner. Requests for product returns must include the reason for the return, the reference part number, the quantity, the lot number, and the order number.

All returned products must be received in their original, unopened packages and be undamaged and packed appropriately for shipping. Items must be in saleable condition and suitable for restocking.

Follow these guidelines when you prepare your return:

  • Write the return authorisation number on the outside of the package.
  • Ship your return to the appropriate Cook location and address it to the attention of Returned Goods.
